A project that
tells the story differently.

For five years we have made stories about art, free and without restrictions. Not because it is fashionable, but because we are certain: art should be vast and available, not rare and guarded.

Five years, one purpose

MMXXI

The first film

July. The team launches an original project about artists and styles. In a month the first video gathers more views than a whole season was expected to.

MMXXII

The first tournament

December. An open annual tournament in the history of art: three rounds, dozens of participants, four partners. The model works.

MMXXIII

The VAW group

March. The project is restructured under the VAW group: feature-length films, series, and a second tournament season with seven partners.

MMXXIV — MMXXV

70+ films

The library passes seventy original works. The third and fourth tournament seasons: the Kremlin Palace, Tsaritsyno, the Museum of Oriental Art, the Voznesensky Centre.

MMXXVI

ARSOVENTUS

ARTEFACT becomes ARSOVENTUS. A new name, a new home, an Academy in preparation and the fifth tournament season. The work continues where it began — from a love of great art.

Irreplaceable people.

Five people who turn archive records into living stories. Each with their own view and their own part of art.
